Sukhu Launches Development Works in Solan

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu dedicated and laid foundation stones of five development projects worth Rs. 27.43 crore in the Solan Assembly Constituency during his one-day tour to the area.

The Chief Minister inaugurated the newly constructed Industrial Training Institute (ITI) building at Sayri, built at a cost of Rs. 8.50 crore, and the Forest Rest House at Serighat, constructed with an outlay of Rs. 59 lakh. He also inaugurated the Primary Health Centre at Basheel in Mamligh Gram Panchayat, aimed at improving healthcare access in rural areas.

Further, Sukhu laid the foundation stones of the Rajiv Gandhi Government Model Day Boarding School at Mamligh, to be built at a cost of Rs. 16.34 crore, and a 2 crore Solar Power Plant at Kayasu in Gram Panchayat Mamligh, underscoring the government’s focus on sustainable and quality education along with renewable energy initiatives.

These projects are expected to strengthen the education, health, and infrastructure sectors in the region and enhance overall development in Solan constituency.
