Swarn Public School Students Elect their Head Boy & Girl — Results on 1st April

swarnsc22317 (7)Students of Swaran Public High school, Tutikandi, voted to elect their school and house captains for the academic session of 2017-18. Students from Classes III to X participated in this voting process and elected representative for their respective four houses — Rose, Lily, Tulip and Lotus.

swarnsc22317 (6)The candidates for the position of Head Boy were Abhishek, Akshay, Aniket and Vikas, while for the post of Head Girl was fought by Mrinal Joshi and Megha Jaswal. The candidates for respective houses were — Shreya and Akshita for Rose House; Muskaan, Priyanka, and Aniket for Lotus House; Megha, Vivek, Khusboo and Lalit Chandel for Lily House; and Aryan, Sonia were for Tulip House.

swarnsc22317 (3)The candidature for vice captains was Lily House – Kavyanjali, Vanshika, Prikshit; Rose House – Anjali, Sourav, Harpreet, Dkisha; Lotus House – Divya, Gulab, Vishnupal, Rohit, Suhani; Tulip House – Purnima, and Dimple.

School Principal, Seema Mehta said that the Oath Ceremony would take place on 1st April, when the final results will be declared. She added, “By holding election this way we teach the students to learn about the votine process and how elections are conducted, as well as this gives a fair chance to the students who wish to lead with am example”.
