In observance of World Tuberculosis Day on 24th March, students of the Shivalik Institute of Nursing, led by Principal Dr. Shama Lohumi, carried out a series of awareness activities throughout the week to educate the public about tuberculosis (TB) and its prevention.

The students highlighted that TB is a completely curable disease and emphasized that treatment and diagnostic investigations are provided free of cost. Additionally, patients in need undergoing treatment receive a monthly nutritional support of Rs. 1,000 to aid recovery.

As part of the awareness drive, the student nurses organized a rally promoting a “TB Mukt Bharat” (TB-Free India), encouraging every individual to contribute to eradicating the disease and spreading knowledge about early detection and treatment.
