CM Sukhu today visited Government Senior Secondary School (GSSS), Baga Sarahan in the Nirmand Sub-Division of Kullu district, where he stressed the importance of imparting practical knowledge alongside the regular academic curriculum. Interacting with teachers, he also encouraged them to provide competitive general knowledge to students and discussed the challenges they face in delivering quality education.
During his visit, the Chief Minister engaged with students, assessed their general awareness, and discussed their career goals. He motivated them to set clear targets, work diligently, and uphold strong moral values.
Highlighting infrastructure needs, he directed that the old school building (Pre-Nursery to Class 8) should be replaced with a modern facility to enhance the learning environment.
Earlier in the day, CM Sukhu also met with local residents at the PWD Rest House in Baga Sarahan, attentively heard their concerns, and instructed officials to ensure timely redressal.
