Techno Fest Lights Up St. Thomas’ School

St. Thomas’ School, Shimla, came alive with innovation and excitement as it hosted a spectacular Techno Fest for Classes I to VIII in celebration of World Robotics Day. The event served as a vibrant showcase of young talent, creativity, and technological curiosity.

Dr. Balveer Singh Thakur, Assistant Professor at UIT, Himachal Pradesh University, graced the event as Chief Guest. He praised the school’s initiative and remarked on how students today are seamlessly integrating robotics and AI into their everyday lives. He also acknowledged the transformative potential of the StemRobo initiative within the school.

The fest featured hands-on exhibits such as the Smart Lock, Smart Fan, Auto Pot, 3D Pen, 3D Printer, Pick and Place Robot, Musical Robot, and various electronic circuits—demonstrating practical applications of STEM education.

Vice Principal Sharon Nanda highlighted that St. Thomas’ School is proud to lead in educational innovation, having already integrated StemRobo into its curriculum. She reaffirmed the school’s commitment to preparing students for the digital future through immersive, technology-led learning experiences.
