At the same time, Safer Internet Day 2026 promotes the safe, responsible, and ethical use of digital technologies, with the theme “Smart-tech, safe-choices: Exploring the safe and responsible use of AI.” It focuses on cyber hygiene, privacy protection, responsible online behavior, and awareness of cyber threats, encouraging individuals, organizations, and governments to adopt secure digital practices.
