UIDAI conducts workshop on impact of Aadhar in HP

Regional office of UIDAI, Chandigarh convened a workshop here today which focused on maximizing the impact of Aadhaar in Himachal Pradesh.

The event featured insightful discussions led by prominent figures within UIDAI and Himachal Pradesh’s administrative framework. This workshop also emphasized on advancing Aadhaar enrollment and verification in the State

DDG, UIDAI, regional office Chandigarh Bhawna Garg highlighted the importance of integration of various departments for enrolling children, including providing child enrolment tablets to the health department and equipping schools with enrollment kits.

Director, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Dr. Nipun Jindal thanked the participants for sharing insights into the Aadhaar ecosystem and new developments around it. He assured that the state would continue to harness the potential of Aadhaar for the benefit of residents of the state.

Secretary, Digital Technologies and Governance Priyatu Mandal, Director, Digital Technologies and Governance Raghav Sharma, Director UIDAI,  Jagdish Kumar, Deputy Director UIDAI Regional Office, Chandigarh Rana Pritpal Singh also attended the workshop.
