The month of August brought about a plethora of events for the Inner Wheel Club, Vikas Nagar. Under the able-guidance of Asha Sood, President, the club undertook various activities social activities and the most important one being the Annapurna Project that was launched nationwide.
Besides grand celebrations of Janamashtmi and Independence Day with children from various schools and different walks of life, a dental camp was organised at Jakhu Primary School. Valuable contributions were made by Surbhi, Secretary, Editor Mrs Khwaja and Treasurer Sapna along with the members of the club who spared valuable time to visit various institutes.
The club further extended its services by providing woollens to new born babies in Ripon Hospital. Acknowledging the contributions of members Ritu Khanna, Sheetal, Dimpy, Monika, Sapna, Hema, Neeru, along with others, President Asha Sood assured greater support to social causes by the club in the months to come.
