Several activities were anchored which helped teachers understand how to make the shift happen from a teacher centered classroom to a learner centered one where students are truly engaged and real learning happens. The focus of the workshop was on making students well educated and not well trained to just get ranks and marks.
The teachers also used a questionaaire to understand what style of teaching they use. The 21 st century skills on education talk about competency based learning and Active learning is one essential component of it. It is the need of the hour that schools gear up for this ride to equip their students to meet the upcoming challenges of today’s era.
