Himachal Pradesh has taken a major step toward protecting its youth seeking jobs abroad. The Ministry of External Affairs has granted a Recruitment Agent License (RAL) to the Himachal Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation (HPSEDC), officially authorizing it to recruit Indian workers for foreign employers.
Chief Minister welcomed this development, highlighting that Himachal Pradesh is now among the few Indian states to provide overseas employment opportunities through a government agency instead of relying on private recruiters.
This shift is expected to shield job seekers from exploitation and high fees charged by agents, ensuring genuine employment opportunities abroad. The move also enables HPSEDC to fully comply with international employment regulations, promising a transparent and reliable recruitment process for the youth of Himachal.
With this license, the state government aims to make overseas employment more accessible and secure for its residents, boosting their prospects without financial burdens.
