Vibrant Inter-House Hindi Dramatics Competition 2023

Auckland House School for Boys was alive with creativity and talent as it recently organized an engaging Inter-House Hindi Dramatics Competition on August 10, 2023. The event brought together students from different houses, showcasing their acting prowess and enthusiasm for the arts.

Renowned Judges: Esteemed judges added an extra layer of excitement to the competition. Mr. Bhupinder Sharma, a distinguished director, actor, writer, and artist in AIR Shimla; Mr. Jawahar Kaul, a seasoned artist and actor with a long association with AIR Shimla; and Mr. Anil Sharma, a theatre expert actively involved in acting and direction, presided over the event as judges.

House Spirit and Enthusiasm: The four competing houses – Durrant, French, Lefroy, and Matthew – each put forth their best performances. The students exuded remarkable enthusiasm and dedication, truly bringing their characters to life on stage. The judges were impressed with the creativity and dedication displayed by each house.

Celebrating Excellence: After an enthralling display of talent, Matthew House emerged as the winner of the competition, with Durrant House securing the second position and Lefroy House claiming the third. Acknowledging the individual brilliance, Varchasav Shayam and Vihan Thakur were deservedly crowned as the overall Best Actors of the event.

Gratitude and Closure: Mr. Michael A. John, the Principal of Auckland House School for Boys, extended his heartfelt gratitude to all participants, judges, and attendees for contributing to the success of the event. The ceremony concluded on a patriotic note with the singing of the National Anthem, evoking a sense of unity and pride.
