Principal Media Advisor to the Chief Minister Naresh Chauhan today urged employees to approach the government through dialogue to resolve their issues, rather than resorting to criticism or making allegations. He emphasized that the state government has always been a well-wisher of its employees, as demonstrated by the swift restoration of the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) in the first cabinet meeting, benefiting 1.36 lakh employees.

Chauhan criticized the previous BJP government for neglecting employees’ demands and creating significant financial liabilities, including Rs. 75,000 crore in debt and an additional Rs. 10,000 crore owed to employees. He acknowledged the challenging financial situation and praised the Chief Minister’s tough decisions to address the state’s financial challenges, including exploring options to revive loss-making entities like the Electricity Board and HRTC.

Naresh Chauhan expressed disappointment over the recent protests, urging employees to avoid this type modus-operandi. He reiterated that the government remains committed to the welfare of all sections of society, including farmers, horticulturists, and the unemployed and called for a constructive dialogue to address employee’s concerns.
