Auckland House School celebrated the 71st Independence Day with great spirit and jubilation. The programme commenced with the Flag hoisting followed by the National Anthem. The second half of the programme comprised of two speeches by the senior students of Form XII, highlighting India’s struggle for freedom.
The latter half of the programme was an amalgamation of patriotic songs, dances and a play showcasing the sacrifices of the freedom fighters as well as Army personnel. Each item was carefully planned keeping in mind the sanctity of this pious occasion. The programme was a grand success and it concluded amidst a loud applause by the audience.
