Alert For Class X & XII Exams

CBSE – In light of the upcoming Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class X & XII examinations scheduled from February 15 to April 2, 2024, the board has issued a stern warning against the spread of rumours and fake information.

Addressing concerns over past incidents where certain individuals have attempted to disseminate false information about paper leaks and question paper access, CBSE emphasizes the importance of maintaining integrity and fairness in the examination process.

The board highlights the nefarious activities of individuals who circulate fake links of sample papers and claim access to question papers for monetary gains. Such actions not only prey on unsuspecting students and parents but also create unnecessary confusion and panic within the community.

CBSE assures that it remains vigilant and active in identifying and taking action against those spreading fake news and rumours. Collaborating closely with law enforcement agencies, CBSE pledges to enforce strict measures against individuals involved in circulating false information on social media platforms.

Furthermore, CBSE warns that students found spreading fake news will face consequences under UNFAIR MEANS rules and various sections of IPC. Parents are urged to counsel their children against believing and participating in such deceptive activities that undermine the integrity of the examination process.

The public is urged to remain vigilant against unverified news and rumours during the 2024 exams and refrain from participating in or spreading such misinformation through any form of communication. To report any suspicious activity, individuals are encouraged to contact CBSE via email at info.cbseexam@cbseshiksha.in.

CBSE’s proactive stance underscores its commitment to ensuring the sanctity and fairness of examinations, safeguarding the interests of students, parents, and educational institutions alike.
