CM directs immediate restoration of landslide-hit area near DDU Hospital

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu conducted an on-site inspection of the landslide-affected area near Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Hospital Shimla late night on Thursday.

He directed the authorities to expedite restoration work and ensure the smooth flow of vehicular movement in the area. He said that the circular road was the lifeline of Shimla city and adequate police personnel should be deployed to facilitate both local residents and tourists.

In light of the ongoing monsoon season, the Chief Minister also instructed the district administration to maintain strict vigilance and take swift action to prevent any further mishaps and minimize hardships for the people.

Deputy Commissioner Shimla, Anupam Kashyap along with other senior officers were present during the inspection.
