CM Sukhu Orders Contractor Dues Cleared by April 30

CM Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has directed the Finance Department to clear all pending liabilities of contractors associated with the Public Works Department, Jal Shakti Vibhag and other departments by 30th April, 2025.

Presiding over a meeting of the Finance Department held , the Chief Minister also directed officials to clear the pending bills of IGMC Shimla, PGI Chandigarh and Dr. Rajendra Prasad Government Medical College, Tanda, under the Himcare Scheme. He further instructed to release the pending installments of beneficiaries of the Sahara Scheme at the earliest as well.

CM Sukhu said that the financial position of the State was improving due to the pragmatic and timely measures being implemented by the State Government. Principal Secretary (Finance) Devesh Kumar and Special Secretary (Finance) Saurabh Jassal were present at the meeting.
