CM Sukhu Saves Life in Kwar with Swift Helicopter Rescue

Exhibiting compassion and humanity, Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu took swift action to save a life in the remote Kwar of Shimla district. Responding to an urgent medical emergency, the Chief Minister directed the Shimla district administration to airlift Virender Thakur, an employee at the SDM Office in Kwar, who was suffering from shooting pain and required immediate medical assistance.

The Chief Minister spared his helicopter and sent it to Kwar immediately. The person along with his daughter was airlifted at 4:13 PM from Kwar and arrived at IGMC Shimla around 5:00 PM and his condition is reported to be stable.

Sh. Sukhu has directed the IGMC authorities to provide the best possible medical care to the patient. He had also spared his helicopters for needy persons of the hard and remote areas for providing immediate medical treatment to them.  The family of Virender Thakur has extended heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Minister for this generosity and airlifting him for medical treatment at IGMC Shimla.
