Students of Auckland House School (Boys) showcased their creative talent with the use of waste material in an art, craft and science exhibition.
Auckland boys exhibited their talent in a form of an art, craft and science exhibition, held in the school premises here today as students from Class Nursery to Tenth participated with great enthusiasm and zeal. Chief Guest G.C. Negi, A.D.M. Protocol graced the occasion with his presence. He was pleased to see the talent of students and appreciated the role of school and parents for making students take up such activates. While speaking on the occasion Principal Micheal A John said, “It is a great pleasure to see the hard work of students turning into something very beautiful and informative. Such events reflect upon the united spirit of all as teachers, students and parents collectively make efforts to make an idea come to life. It is a proud moment for us all”.
During the exhibition students showcased their talent by using waste material like plastic, used CDs, figs and paper to create some very nice decorations. In the junior section various items that were exhibited depicting landforms, water bodies and life under water.
Model displays of social sciences also won hearts of many as under activity corner students had wall clocks made out of paper, mathematic puzzles, work famous Hindi writer, digestive system and the solar system teased the brains of all.
The senior section boys showcased their artistic skills by making a variety of models on all the subjects, while explaining them with clear illustrations. The section consisted of drawings, sketches, paintings such as rim jhim, jalpari, 3-d, cloth, night and day, table cloth, cushions and handkerchiefs printing by the use of fabric colours.
“We feel proud and happy as we all got an opportunity to express our talent in this exhibition. We are grateful to our teachers who considered us worthy for carrying out the responsibility of explaining our models”, said Tanav Gupta (II-A); Aadish Verma (II-D); Kiritsingh Nikhra (II- D); Harsh Sharma and Arya Bhimta (VIII D) students representing and explaining different models during the exhibition.
As a proud parent Anita said, “It is really an amazing show. I can call it as ‘creativity at its best’. There has been time when we forget that waste material too can become something beautiful and this exhibition served as one such reminder. I hope to see more good work from students in future too.”
