DDTG Bags Top National Awards, CM Hails Digital Push in Himachal

The Department of Digital Technologies and Governance (DDTG) has brought laurels to Himachal Pradesh by securing multiple national-level awards for its innovative and citizen-centric e-Governance initiatives. The recognitions were presented to Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu by Secretary Ashish Singhmar and Director Dr. Nipun Jindal.

Among the key achievements, the department’s flagship platform HimParivar has won the prestigious ET GovTech Award 2026 (Silver Winner) in the category of “Best State-Level e-Governance Initiative” by The Economic Times. In another major recognition, the department’s Survey Platform has been awarded the SKOCH Award 2025 by the SKOCH Group for excellence in e-Governance, acknowledging its role in enabling efficient digital surveys and data-driven decision-making.

Additionally, HimParivar, HimAccess Single Sign-On (SSO), and the Survey Platform have also received the SKOCH Order of Merit, further highlighting the state’s progress in digital innovation and governance reforms.

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu appreciated the department’s efforts in ensuring transparent, prompt, and secure delivery of public services. He said the state government is committed to leveraging technology and innovation to build an efficient and accessible governance system for citizens. He also expressed confidence that the department would continue strengthening Himachal’s vision of a digitally empowered state through integrated platforms and data-driven governance.

Secretary Ashish Singhmar stated that these awards reflect the continuous efforts of the department in developing robust, scalable, and citizen-focused digital platforms aimed at improving public service delivery across Himachal Pradesh.
