The District Election Officer urged all the political parties that information about all the provisions of the Model Code of Conduct implemented in view of the Lok Sabha Elections-2024 is being provided to the representatives of the political parties from time to time so that during the election process, there is no violation of the Code.

The District Election Officer said that various monitoring teams have been formed to ensure compliance with the Model Code of Conduct.
He asked the representatives of political parties to ensure that all eligible people, who have completed 18 years of age on April 01, 2024, get registered as voters so that they can contribute to this festival of democracy. He said that the candidates should pay special attention while filling the nomination so that no mistake is found in the form at the time of scrutiny. Anupam Kashyap told the representatives of political parties that the administration has held a meeting with the officials of Uttarkashi and Dehradun through video conference in which it has been decided to make special arrangements in the border areas so that the execution of Lok Sabha elections can be done with better coordination.
