Evacuation Drill and Mock exercise on Fire Safety – Auckland Girls

An evacuation drill and mock exercise on fire safety was conducted in Auckland House Girls School to celebrate  the International Day for Disaster Reduction as a Mass Awareness Campaign with the support of fire services. Sudhakar Prasad, a leading fireman with his team from the Fire Department enlightened the students and staff regarding the fire safety measures to be taken in case of a fire mishap.

Twelve hundred students of Class Nursery to XII participated actively in the drill and the whole procedure of evacuation was carried out successfully in a time span of two minutes thirty seconds.
