Himachal Pradesh Administrative Services (HPAS) and the Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Allied Services trainee officers called on Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla at Raj Bhavan today. These officers are undergoing training at the HP Institute of Public Administration (HIPA), Fairlawn, Shimla. While interacting with them, the Governor advised that they should be more aware of their duties and responsibilities and contribute to the development of the society and the State through their actions.

He asked them to serve the society with utmost dedication and honesty. He said that they should be identified with their outstanding behaviour and service toward the people. He also shared his personal experiences with them and advised them to keep a positive outlook. He told the officers to emulate the standards set by their seniors in their respective departments and advised them to improve their knowledge of the department they work with. Additional Director HIPA, Jyoti Rana apprised the Governor about the training programme being prepared for these officers. Secretary to Governor Rajesh Sharma was also present on the occasion.
