HP Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla today released a book titled “Say No to Drugs, Choose a Better Life” at Raj Bhavan. Authored and published by Keshav Ram Lothata, Director of Manav Kalyan Seva Samiti, the book seeks to raise awareness about the growing menace of drug addiction and encourage healthier lifestyle choices.
Commending the initiative, the Governor highlighted drug abuse as one of the most pressing social issues of the present time. He stressed the importance of collective efforts in tackling this challenge and praised the Samiti’s anti-drug campaign for its role in educating and empowering the youth.
“Efforts like this are vital in shaping a responsible and drug-free future for our society,” the Governor stated, calling upon the younger generation to actively support such noble causes.
Mayor Surinder Chauhan and Deputy Mayor Uma Kaushal were also present during the release event.
The Manav Kalyan Seva Samiti, known for its various welfare initiatives, continues to work towards spreading awareness about the adverse effects of drug use and promoting positive life choices among communities.
