Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar today visited Model De-addiction and Rehabilitation Centre at Mandi run by zonal hospital Mandi under the aegis of HP State Mental Health Authority. He reviewed the activities being executed in the centre and took stock of facilities available at the centre. In a meeting with the authority, the Governor asked them to provide indoor recreational facilities like table tennis, chess, yoga and meditation etc. He also directed to formulate a plan to rehabilitate the inmates. Chief Medical Officer Dr. Devinder briefed about the centre. Deputy Commissioner, Mandi Arindam Chaudhary and other officers were also present on the occasion.
