Himachal Day Program to be Held in Kaza After 75 Years

Notably, after 75 years since the formation of the state, a state-level Himachal Day program is set to take place in Kaza for the first time. Moreover, the decision to hold the event in Spiti on April 15 was made during the current government’s tenure. According to CM Sukhinder Singh Sukhu, people from tribal areas in Himachal Pradesh celebrate every festival, occasion, and national program with new enthusiasm. The Highest Polling Station in the World (HP Daily News Bulletin)

Located in the Lahaul-Spiti district, the Tashigang polling station in Spiti is the highest polling station in the world, situated at an altitude of 15,256 feet. Although, in the 2022 Assembly elections, during the celebration of democracy, 100% of people voted at this polling station. Therefore, serves as a symbol of the commitment and duty of the people of this region towards their country.
