Chief Minister Announces New Offices

During his first visit to Solan district, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu announced the establishment of several new offices. (HP Daily News Bulletin 13/04/2023 ). However, the Block Development Officer (BDO), Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), and Block Medical Officer for the Doon Assembly segment are among the offices. Although, these new offices are expected to play a crucial role in the administration and development of Solan.

SDM and BDO Offices to be Made Operational from October 1 (HP Daily News Bulletin 13/04/2023)

Additionally, the Chief Minister also stated that the SDM office in Baddi and the BDO office will start functioning from October 1. However, a budgetary provision must first be made for their smooth functioning. Thus, this suggests that there may be some initial logistical and financial challenges that need to be addressed .
