In a move aimed at optimizing administrative efficiency and serving the public interest, the Governor of Himachal Pradesh has ordered the transfers and postings of several Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service (HPAS) officers. The reshuffle, effective immediately, involves key positions across various departments in the state.
Commissioner Ashish Kumar Kohli appointed as Secretary, State Transport Authority
Ashish Kumar Kohli, a seasoned HPAS officer of the 2006 batch, has been appointed as the Secretary of the State Transport Authority and will also assume the role of Additional Commissioner of Transport, Himachal Pradesh. He was previously serving as the Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation in Shimla.
Hemis Negi appointed as Managing Director of H.P. State Agricultural Marketing Board
Hemis Negi, an experienced HPAS officer belonging to the 2007 batch, has been entrusted with the responsibilities of Managing Director of the H.P. State Agricultural Marketing Board. Additionally, he will assume the role of State Project Director for the Prakritik Kheti Khushal Kissan Yojna (PK3Y) in Himachal Pradesh. Shri Negi was previously serving as the Secretary of the State Transport Authority and Additional Commissioner of Transport.
Rajiv Kumar-II appointed as Additional Principal Private Secretary to Chief Minister
Rajiv Kumar-II, a distinguished HPAS officer from the 2007 batch, has been appointed as the Additional Principal Private Secretary to the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh. He will also hold the position of Additional Secretary to the Chief Minister. In addition, Kumar will assume the responsibilities of Secretary-cum-Chief Executive Officer of the H.P. Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, relieving Dile Ram of this additional charge. Shri Kumar was previously serving as the Additional Director of Health & Family Welfare.
Naresh Thakur appointed as Additional Commissioner of Transport (Lead Agency/Road Safety)
Naresh Thakur, an accomplished HPAS officer of the 2007 batch, has been appointed as the Additional Commissioner of Transport (Lead Agency/Road Safety). He was previously serving as the Managing Director of the H.P. State Agricultural Marketing Board and held the additional charge of State Project Director for the Prakritik Kheti Khushal Kissan Yojna.
Bhupender Kumar appointed as Commissioner of Municipal Corporation, Shimla
Bhupender Kumar, an efficient HPAS officer from the 2009 batch, has been appointed as the Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation in Shimla. He was previously serving as the Managing Director of MILKFED, Himachal Pradesh.
Tashi Sandup appointed as Additional Director of Ayush and Health & Family Welfare
Tashi Sandup, an accomplished HPAS officer from the 2011 batch, will take up the role of Additional Director of Ayush, along with an additional charge of Additional Director of Health & Family Welfare.
Ajit Kumar Bhardwaj appointed as General Manager of SPV Shimla Smart City Ltd.
Ajit Kumar Bhardwaj, a dedicated HPAS officer from the 2012 batch, has been appointed as the General Manager (Administration/Project) in the SPV Shimla Smart City Ltd. Additionally, he will also assume the additional charge of Chief Executive Officer of the Khadi and Village Industries Board. Bhardwaj will also hold the post of Additional Director at the H.P. Institute of Public Administration (HIPA).
Jyoti Rana appointed as Additional District Magistrate (Protocol)
Ms. Jyoti Rana, a highly capable HPAS officer from the 2012 batch, has been appointed as the Additional District Magistrate (Protocol) for Shimla District, relieving Rahul Chauhan of this additional charge. She was previously serving as the Additional Director of the H.P. Institute of Public Administration (HIPA).
Dr. Vikas Sood appointed as Managing Director of MILKFED
Dr. Vikas Sood, a dedicated HPAS officer from the 2012 batch, has been appointed as the Managing Director of MILKFED, Himachal Pradesh. Dr. Sood was previously serving as the Additional Commissioner of Transport (Lead Agency/Road Safety).
