St. Edward’s School, known for its dedication to holistic education, proudly hosted its Junior School Annual Function 2025 under the evocative theme ‘NAVRAS – Celebrating Our Emotions’. The event was honored by the presence of Justice Bipin Chander Negi, a distinguished alumnus of the school.
The celebration began with the hoisting of the school flag and the heartfelt School Anthem, setting a tone of unity and school spirit. The theme “Navras”, drawn from Indian aesthetic philosophy, guided the audience through a captivating showcase of the nine Rasas—
Shringar (Love), Karuna (Compassion), Adbhut (Wonder), Raudra (Anger), Bhakti (Devotion), Bhayanak (Fear), Hasya (Laughter), Veer (Courage), and Shant (Peace).
Through a dynamic blend of music, dance, and drama, students vividly brought each emotion to life. The Grand Finale united all emotions, reflecting the creativity and emotional intelligence nurtured at the school.
Justice Negi, in his speech, praised the school for fostering both academic excellence and emotional development, highlighting the importance of empathy and resilience in education. Principal Rev. Fr. Anil Sequeira felicitated the Chief Guest, and the event concluded with the National Anthem, instilling a strong sense of national pride.
