Tiny tots of Orchid Prep School showed their love and respect for their mothers in the form of Mother’s Day Celebrations as all the mothers participated in the event and shared their personal motherhood experiences. They spoke about the pain and joyous journey after being a mother. One of the mother’s shared that she learned the futility of anger and a few voiced that a girl child was as good as any male child.
All of them held the opinion that being a mother is all about putting self love in the corner and being devoted towards the most beautiful creation, that’s her child. The day turned out to be a complete blend of emotions and enjoyment.
Speaking on the occasion School Principal Neelam Vij said that it is very important for children to have their parents with them. They feel encouraged when parents are present to enjoy and share every little thing with them.
The day ended with presenting of greeting cards made by students and teachers together as a token of appreciation for their mother. Students presented a dance for entertaining their mothers and the highlight was a special presentation on mother and child relationship.
