Vice Chancellor, Sardar Patel Cluster University Mandi Dr. C.L. Chandan called on Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur at Mandi today and thanked him for making this University as State University. Chief Minister said that this University would provide qualitative and quantitative higher education to the youth of Mandi and other districts nearer to their home. He said that a long pending demand of the students has been fulfilled by setting up State University. He said that the present State Government was alive to the needs of the youth of the State and took various steps to fulfil these. Prof. Anupama Singh and other senior officers were also present on the occasion.
