Aadil Bedi, a 15 year old teenager from Chandigarh City made the country proud by finishing as Runner UP in the World Cup Golf at Las Vegas, USA in 15-16 boys category. He shot 67, 65 and 74 which was 2 score short of world champion Macro Trstenjak from Canada. Aadil lead the championship for the first two days by shooting 13 birdies with 10 under par score on hot Las Vegas Desert at 108 deg F temperature. But last day golf was good enough to make the country proud with a Runners Up position.
Aadil said, “I have the game now which is good on international golf courses in USA, and I hope that I will do good in my next match at Miami Florida next week”. I have started working on my psychological part of the game with Dr. Bob Byman from USA, who himself was PGA tour player at Jack Nicklaus Times. It is helping me a lot now.
When I will go back to my country I will address some of the flaws with my swing with my coach Jesse Grewal at CGA Golf Range, so that I can come to the US next year with winning tag. University coaches have started watching my game here in the US, which will help me get my graduation here in USA and I will be in a position to get scholarship and amateur tournament experience.
