KHelParisar (2)A man says a lot of things in summer he doesn’t mean in winter however some students are definitely decisive about their plans for this winter. More than 150 students from different schools are availing the facility to get physically trained in various games like Badminton, 10 mtr Shooting, Taekwondo, Boxing Table Tennis, Judo and Karate at the Indira Gandhi Sports Complex.

Students are seen to have keen interest and are coming regularly for getting trained in various sports. while speaking to 11 year old Arsh Kashyap, a student of Auckland House School for Boys, he said, “Recently after my school closed for winter vacations I felt the need to take on a new adventure. I personally liked getting enrolled in Shooting as this not only helps in concentration but also helps in staying focused in life”.

KHelParisar (3)On the other hand, Arnav Jreat, a 9th class student from BCS said, “Our school does offer this game throughout the year and that’s how I got interested in the same. However, since the school is closed for winter holidays I wanted to stay in practice and hence I got enrolled here.”

While sharing his experience coach, said that shooting is a game where students have great opportunities of making their identity. There is no limitation when it comes to playing at national level. This game trains mind and body to aim higher.

KHelParisar (4)On the other hand students are also seen keen and active in Martial Arts as they all feel that self protection is the need of an hour and one cannot rely much on others when it comes to safety. They believe that safety saves and this game is keeping them strong.

Winters may be a time which is considered to be cold and barren but these students are all set to spring back to life and become a better person for sure than they were a year before.
