Winters of Shimla are no longer what they had been and with sudden change in environment, even childhood of children has become different. In the absence of snow, they are no longer locked indoors or get an opportunity to experience winter sports. Keeping the scenario in view Nikky Arts is serving as a blessing for all as it saves children from getting bored or glued to TV screens or other gadgets.
At present, nearly 80 students are enrolled with them and proving the statement that “learning can be fun”, true.
While informing about the classes Neha said, “I have conducted art n craft classes for children in various places. There they learn how to make crafts, do colouring in a proper manner. Children are no doubt enjoying the camp and learning which will not only help them to win the drawing competitions in schools but also make them confident of making anything and everything they are asked for.”
“In Regal Public School, I have merged some more classes as English communication in which children are learning grammar part, spoken English and handwriting skills. This will help them to coordinate their syllabus of English in school”, she added.
“Dance classes are conducted which makes kids feel free and confident about their body and learn new steps which will be helpful for their growth in different dance competitions”, she informed further.
Currently Nikky Arts is holding various classes for dance, art and craft and communication (English) in various places including Shemrock Roses (Kachhighati); Awesome Kids (Pantgaghati); Euro Kids (New Shimla); Regal Public School (The Mall, Shimla); Shemrock, (Cemetery) and Shemrock (Sanjauli).
