In a significant step towards holistic healthcare, the Divya Yoga Research Foundation is set to inaugurate an Ayush Hospital in the serene town of New Tutu, Shimla. This innovative healthcare facility, named “Ayush Hospital,” will offer the benefits of India’s ancient medical practices such as Ayurveda, Panchakarma, and Naturopathy. Patients will have the opportunity to avail themselves of these time-tested techniques, with expert guidance from specialists in Yoga and Panchakarma.

According to Mr. Vijaykumar Sood, President of Divya Yoga Research Foundation, Ayush Hospital will prioritize not only medical treatments but also yogic health care and fitness. He emphasized that the human body is composed of five elements—earth, water, air, fire, and ether—and imbalances among these elements lead to ailments. This natural healthcare approach aims to restore balance through practices like Yoga and personalized dietary plans, eliminating the need for medication.

Dr. K.K. Sharma, Medical Director of the institution, highlighted the integral role of diet within natural healthcare. Patients will receive tailored guidance on what to consume, which yoga postures to practice, and the appropriate methodology of natural healing treatments based on their individual constitution and imbalances of Vata, Pitta, and Kapha.

The hospital’s approach will be centered around ancient practices like Vamana, Virechana, Basti Chikitsa, Nasya Karma, and Raktamokshana. These techniques are designed to restore harmony within the body by eliminating imbalances and toxins through methods like controlled vomiting, purgation, herbal enemas, nasal administration, and bloodletting.

Vivek, Secretary of Divya Foundation, informed that the hospital is expected to commence operations from August, immediately offering a variety of services to the public. The facility will provide Physiotherapy and Yoga Therapy in addition to Ayurveda and Naturopathy, ensuring a comprehensive spectrum of care. The hospital will offer free initial consultations to all patients, facilitating the access of individuals to personalized holistic healthcare. For inquiries or appointments, individuals can call the helpline at 76510-76589.
