The upcoming Children’s Theatre Festival which will culminate with the final showcase as an Inter-School Hindi Drama Competition in the month of October on 14 and 15, will see more than fifteen city school participating. The event will give a chance to our young actors to present their amazing performances as they enact stories written by Himachal’s writers and have been adapted into playscripts. The core motive of the theatre festival being skill building workshop by theatre artists.
Noted documentary filmmaker Vivek Mohan took a theatre workshop and overseed the preparation of the participants of the Saraswati Paradise International Public School, Shimla. While guiding the teachers and the students Vivek shared insightful inputs about production standards as well as value addition beyond the basic storyline and theme. He further emphasised to basically pay attention to the details as even minute mistakes are noticed. So, correcting those and being persistent with practices will help the teams overcome their apprehensions thus putting up a great final show.
