In a significant development, Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla administered the Oath of Office and Secrecy to the newly appointed Cabinet Ministers, Rajesh Dharmani from Ghumarwin assembly constituency and Yadvinder Goma from Jaisinghpur Assembly segment at Raj Bhawan in Himachal Pradesh today.

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri were present at the ceremony, along with several dignitaries, including Speaker HP Vidhan Sabha, Kuldeep Singh Pathania, Cabinet Ministers, Chief Parliamentary Secretaries, and other key officials.

Rajesh Dharmani

  • Legislative Experience: Elected in 2007, 2012, and 2022; Chief Parliamentary Secretary from 2013 to May 2017
  • Notable Contributions: Promoted sericulture and actively involved in social service and supporting education for underprivileged students.
Yadvinder Goma
  • Constituency: Jaisinghpur, Kangra
  • Educational Background: B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and MBA from IEET Baddi
  • Party Roles: President, Youth Congress (Jaisinghpur); General Secretary, State Rajeev Gandhi Panchayati Raj organization; President, Himachal Pradesh Congress SC Cell
  • Legislative Experience: Elected in 2012 and 2022; Chairman, Subordinate Legislation Committee of Vidhan Sabha; Member, Welfare & Rules Committees

In his address, Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla emphasized the importance of positive thinking and a constructive outlook among the youth for nation-building. He encouraged the newly appointed ministers to understand the principle of unity in diversity and actively participate in the development of the state.
