HPSCBL Achieves National Recognition for PMFBY

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has congratulated the Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Bank Limited (HPSCBL) for securing first place nationally in the implementation of the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY).

The bank achieved the top position in the ‘Co-operative Bank – Medium State’ category for its outstanding execution of the scheme during Kharif 2024 and Rabi 2024-25. The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Government of India, issued a certificate of appreciation recognizing HPSCBL’s exemplary efforts.

The certificate was presented to the Chief Minister by HPSCBL Chairman Devendra Shyam and Managing Director Shravan Manta.

Praising the bank’s work, CM Sukhu highlighted its vital role in delivering welfare schemes to farmers and orchardists at the grassroots level, noting that its initiatives have yielded encouraging results. Public Works Minister Vikramaditya Singh was also present on the occasion.
