YWCASINGER.5.11 (2)Celebrating 125 years of its foundation, the Young Women’s Christian Association of Simla is organizing a series of events reflecting back on all they have accomplished and are looking ahead to the work still needed to fully empower women. Inauguration of the Singer Sewing School at YWCA of Simla by Gian Chand Negi, ADM (L&O) Shimla was followed by cultural evening. CompetitiYWCASINGER.5.11 (1)ons were held on the theme ‘My Vision of a Peaceful India’ in Poster Making, Slogan Writing and Flower Arrangement in Senior Middle and Junior category.

Rohini Singh, General Secretary informed that various schools participated including St. Thomas’ School and KV Jakhoo School. Prizes were distributed by the chief guest.
