The Book lovers of Hyderabad are in for a special treat once again after the delightful experience at Hyderabad Literary Festival. India Reading Olympiad (IRO) Lit Festival is presented by Food 4 Thought Foundation along with Cyient Foundation, Monocept and Amadeus.

IRO Lit Festival is a one-day event being held on 10th Feb 2024 at Bhaskara Auditorium, Birla Planetarium, Hyderabad. IRO Lit-Fest. will host India’s First Reading Decathlon where students from 10 Schools across India will compete in 10 varied rounds of Reading challenges over a period of six hours to be crowned as India’s Greatest Reader.

The event will also feature a platform (ABC – Association of Book Clubs) where Book Clubs will discuss various challenges and opportunities to run book clubs. The Book Clubs who are participating are Keekli Book Club, Shimla, Kaffineated Konversations, Indore, Ahmedabad Book Club, Ahmedabad, Club Litetrati, Bhopal, Booknerds Dehradun, The Himalayan Writing Retreat,Nainital, Reading Raccoons,Faridabad, Bookoholics, Pune, Literaria Clava, Hyderabad and The Quills Literary Club, Hyderabad.

The Grand Finale would be 6th India Reading Olympiad Awards where winners across 13 Categories will be felicitated for their selfless contributions towards igniting a reading revolution. These winners have been identified by an independent jury of prominent personalities from corporate, academia and Govt. and NGO sector. The entry for the event is free with the Reading Decathlon starting at 9 AM and the Awards Function starting at 5.00 PM in the evening.
