The historic pitch at Bishop Cotton School, Shimla, is set to come alive with youthful vigor as the institution hosts the All India Inter-School Soccer Tournament 2026 (Under-14) from October 6 to 10. For five action-packed days, the Queen of the Hills will serve as the battleground for rising football talents from premier schools across the nation, blending high-octane sporting competition with camaraderie and discipline.

The formal proceedings kick off on October 7 with a grand Opening Ceremony, presided over by BCS Headmaster Mathew John as Chief Guest. The curtain-raiser will showcase a crisp march past by all participating contingents, the introduction of coaches and officials, and a solemn oath-taking ceremony led by the host team’s Under-14 soccer captain. Following the Headmaster’s address and official opening declaration, the whistle will blow for the inaugural match, setting the tournament in motion.
The five-day sporting spectacle will reach its climax on October 10 with the grand finale. Following the championship match, a joint march past, award distribution, and an official Closing Ceremony will take place to honor the winners and celebrate the enduring spirit of youth sports.
The tournament is organized by a dedicated executive committee headed by BCS Headmaster Mathew John, supported by Bursar Vikram Singh as Vice Chairman, Registrar Praveen Dharma as Secretary, and Director of Sports Gurprit Singh as Organizing Secretary.
