The Himachal Pradesh State Red Cross Society today organized a Blood Donation Camp and a Free Dental Health Check-up Camp, which was graced by Governor Kavinder Gupta as the Chief Guest.
The Governor appreciated the efforts of the State Red Cross Society and the blood donors, acknowledging their invaluable contribution to society. He highlighted that the Red Cross plays a crucial role in serving humanity by supporting the vulnerable and promoting compassion and community welfare. He described blood donation as a noble act that saves lives and brings hope to those in need.
He encouraged the youth to actively participate in such humanitarian and public welfare initiatives to strengthen the spirit of service in society.
During the event, the Governor inspected the Mobile Dental Clinic Van and praised the initiative aimed at providing quality dental healthcare services, especially in remote areas.
He also presented certificates of appreciation to blood donors in recognition of their valuable contribution. In addition, he honoured Raj Kumar for his long-standing support to the Red Cross Society and his consistent blood donation over the years.
