Dharampur, Himachal Pradesh, October 26th, 2022 – Amala’s Programme for Theatre is organising its first ever Offline Theatre Teacher’s Training Programme on 27th, 28th and 29th October, 2022 from8:30 am to 4:30 pm daily at Bliss, Rauri, Subathu Road, Dharampur, Himachal Pradesh. This training is organised for aspiring and existing theatre educators who want to teach theatre or other academic subjects using the tools of theatre. The training would be conducted by NSD Alumna Amala Rai herself who has been a Theatre Practitioner, IB Theatre Educator, Theatre Curriculum Designer and Theatre Teachers’ Trainer. Amala recently completed her Masters’ Certificate in International Education from the University of Bath, United Kingdom. She also has experience of training more than 100 theatre teachers.

Teachers from different parts of the country would be attending this training. This training would cover a variety of theatre tools and skills required to teach theatre and other academic subjects, thus using these tools and skills. A major highlight of this training is Curriculum Planning, Assessment Design, Classroom Management, Pedagogy for Learning and Teaching. Apart from this, the training would also cover various art forms like Chhau movements, Mask making, Puppetry, Production Elements, Role of music in theatre and a lot more. Participants will be awarded with a certificate of participation post the completion of the training. This training will provide teachers with “Adventure bhi aur Learning bhi.What could be a better place and way of learning than the LAP OF THE MOTHER NATURE AND THE MIGHTY HIMALAYAS.
