They say if you want something new, you have to stop doing something old, and one should never forget that one is always drawn towards novel ideas. This innovative thinking during Swaran Public School’s Sports Day Meet brought a new life into the regular sports days.
The tiny tot of the school exhibited their physical strength as they participated in various obstacle races like bike race and under the tunnel. They also learned the value of team work at an early stage as they had races where they had to carry balls in a cloth together till the finish line, relay race and so on.
Audiences where taken away by an awe as they watched the boxing matches. There excitement knew no bounds as students played an energetic badminton match too.
A beautiful drill and aerobic display with pom pom mesmerized all.
Chief Guest for the occasion Kalpana Sharma, an Educationist and former Principal of BSN School Chakkar, graced the occasion and appreciated the sequence of events presented during the day. She encouraged the staff members and school principal to keep doing their best and above she valued the invocative way of presenting the sports day and above all giving each child an opportunity to grow and develop without any discrimination.
School Principal Seema Mehta highlighted the role and importance of words of encouragement from parents for a child. She requested them to give their child an opportunity to explore each and every aspect of life when they get a chance. She also stressed of fact that it is just a matter of participation and how a game was played rather than being a winner.
Winners of various events were awarded with medals and certificates which included Vishu Pal, Vikas, Megha, Mrinal, Dimple, Herpreeet, Aniket, Simran Aarti, Trishla Isha, Akshita, Sneha, Nitin, Ishan, Priyanshu, Manav, Srishti , Neeraj, Rudra, Pallavi, Abhay, Pryush, Gaurav, Kajal , Akhil, Aditya, Abhay and Piyush for various events to name a few.
