Governor, Shiv Pratap Shukla visited the Shimla Water Catchment Sanctuary near Dhali under Shimla wildlife association on Tuesday. He was also accompanied by Lady Governor, Janaki Shukla. The Governor evinced keen interest in flora and fauna of the Sanctuary area.
“Nature has blessed Himachal Pradesh with immense beauty and it is our responsibility to ensure its conservation”, said Shukla. On the occasion, Chief Conservator of Forest, Wild Life (South) Shimla K.Thirumal welcomed the Governor and briefed about the water catchment sanctuary.
