Creativity is best seen when children so excitedly showcase their skills through the arts and craft exhibition, which has a variety of items on display. The Auckland House Girls, middle and senior wing, were elated to show their parents all the hard work put in by them during this annual event. The event began with a formal viewing by the School’s Director-Principal Sunita John who appreciated the handy work of the girls.

Classes III to V displayed craft items such as danglers, handmade cards, knitted bags, painting, photo frames and much more in their classrooms. The students described the items to the parents with excitement and were happy with the appreciation that they received in return.

Classes VI to XII displayed subject-wise projects and 3D models in the Old Hall and gave impressive descriptions about each and every concept / model prepared. Subject displays included Hindi, English, Mathematics, Science, Geography and Social Studies. the exhibits included clay models, colourful charts, 3D working models, and much more.

A very interesting model was by Amrit Kaur Bani of Class IX who made a hydrolic robot arm (see video). By controlling the air pressure, she demonstrated how well equal pressure is applied to move the arm to get any kind of job done. Other interesting exhibits included the pumping of blood in and out of the heart, the kidney function model and a handmade vacuum cleaner.

Another reason for the children to be excited was that they received their Third Unit Results which always is motivational for children to further work hard and excel in studies as well.
