A career counselling session was held in Guru Nanak Foundation Public School, Sector 92, Mohali under the guidance of K.S Chhatwal, Education Psychologist, who motivated the students of Class X by his introductory speech while citing multifarious examples. He informed the students about various career options. According to him excellence is appreciated everywhere.
He even told the students not be disheartened by the remarks of the people who demotivate them by saying it is not their cup of tea rather they should take the challenge to turn impossible into possible. He also them told about time management by giving illustrative examples of crops. As there is a time for sowing the seeds, growing, harvesting and ripening, simiIarly, it is time for them to sow the seeds for their bright future. The more you take care the better quality of crops you will yield in future.
He further quoted “Time and Tide Wait for None”. Each and every individual should have a clear vision of his aim and should put in his best efforts to set the landmark in the profession. Children came up with various queries to know about their options. School Principal Namita Lal said that the motive of the school is to nurture the students to the best of their capacities to prepare them for the 21st century.
