Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar and Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur have felicitated the people of the state on the birth anniversary of Guru Ravidas. The Governor said that Guru Ravidas was a great spiritual leader, who made people aware of the evils of discrimination and urged for overcoming them. In his message, Chief Minister said that Guru Ravidas was among those who led the Bhakti movement in northern India and gave the people a message of peace, harmony and fraternity. He urged the people to follow his teachings and strive to strengthen the virtues of humanity and social equity.
