Heritage.insideTo mark the celebration of international heritage week, Department of Language Art and culture Himachal Pradesh organized a week long exhibition, depicting various heritage sites in Himachal at Gaiety Theater, Shimla in association with Pandulipi Samrakshan Kendra Shimla.

During the exhibition people got an opportunity to see different manuscripts that are getting extinct in the current times in the absence of proper care. As informed by one of the organizers international heritage week is celebrated throughout the world from Nov 19 to 20. The main objective of the exhibition is to bring people close to their roots and their history.

This time with the help of projector and flexes people are made aware about the heritage sites and rare excavated items were also put up for people to see. Tools discovered in Spiti valley attracted lots of appreciation from people. Skeleton and other latest discoveries made at the heritage sites are giving a new direction to the history of the state.

People also got an opportunity to see various manuscripts that are rare site in the current times. The message of preserve the heritage echoed loud and clears in the gallery.
