A mother is the truest friend we have, when trials heavy and sudden fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends desert us; when trouble thickens around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavour by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts.
Euro Kids Pre School, new Shimla, students paid their homage to their beloved mothers as they celebrated mother’s day in the school premises. One may realize that when you look at your mother, you are looking at the purest love you will ever know.
During the celebration more than 80 students along with their mothers participated in various activates organized in the school to mark the celebration of the day like “Best out of waste” where the duo mother and child used worn out things, newspapers, bottles and many other things to create beautiful artifact like wall hanging, vases, toys and many more things to name.
A cultural program was also presented where tiny tots were seen dancing to tunes of songs like “Love you Zindagi”, “Happy Mothers’ Day”. Children also recited poems in honour of their mothers like “Mere mummy bahut pyaari” and “My mother is moon, I am her star” that touched hearts of all.
Children who participated in cultural program included Japman, Shivansh, Saridhi, Nandani, Araja, Achyut, Annant, Bhavy, Akshay, Kashiv, Aanavi, Aandita, Anshuman, Reyaan, Sharansh, Sharyana, Shiva, Karan, Vanya, Rishav, Kriday, Sujay and Aarohi.
They all had lunch together and the best creative product was gifted with a prize by School Principal Raveena Singh who was extremely happy with the celebrations.
