auck1As a part of the school’s extracurricular activity, students of Auckland House Girls School celebrated their French House Day, here today in the school premises. While speaking on the occasion Director Principal Sunita John said, “It was a great pleasure to see the students our school doing so well on the cultural front. I hope that they will excel in future too and make the school proud by making their mark in the society as talented and responsible citizens. It was considerate on part of students to consider social issue such as maintaining a clean and neat environment around us as also emphasized by our country Prime Minister Narendra Damodardas Modi”.

During the event various cultural programs were staged right from dance to plays by students of various classes who united for disseminating important messages via entertainment. Various dance items were presented which included L.P.D. Dance by Rishika Bhaik, Surbhi Thapa, Suhani Prashar, Pritha Doegar, Bhavya Thakur, Shifa and Aahar Singh of class I; Ojjasvini Singh Thakur, Tenzin Khando Khampa, Diya Singh, Anisha Dingta and Aaradhya Sethi of Class II; Kyra Taneja, Lavanya Sood, Kanika and Srishti Mehta of Class III participated.

Peacock Dance was performed by Baldina John, Anika Singh, Rubbal Chahal, Ishman Brar, Harneet Kaur, Neha Thakur, Simran Negi, Shivani Aumta, Maitryee Chaudhary, Anusha Nanda, Ayushi Mittal, Ekta Dogra, Sakshi Chauhan and Shruti Dhora from Class XII, while the participants of the Radha Nache dance were Anaya Deep Attri, Divya Marwah, Nimisha Shukla, Ravnoor Kaur, Ashmeen Gill, Vibhuti Sharma, Gumjan Verma, Siya Sood, Dona Thakur, Heena Thakur, Charvee Kanwar, Kirti Kashyap, Vanshika Ghasta, Vishakha Thakur, Arprota Singh, Asmley Sharma, Jiya Kochhar and Tenin Tesang.

The colours of Rajasthan were brought alive as Pranjal Chandel, Manya Chauhan, Kanika Chauhan, Diya Sharma, Rhythm Dass, Ridam Sharma, Garima Grover, Sneha Sharma, Mahima Naryan, Kartika Puri, Nupur Negi, Vanshika Kainth, Maanika Seth, Ishika Thakur and Cedika Bhaik danced on a folk number.  

Hindi Nukkard Natika revolving around the social message of keeping the environment neat and clean forced the students to contemplate on our actions and also to come forward to share the responsibility as a conscientious citizen, which was impeccably performed by Garima Varma, Bismeet Kaur, Akshita Garg, Satalika Sharma, Shivani Chauhan, Mansi Sharma, Yashika Banta, Yashika Puri, Niharika and Jasmine.

Manva Laage was anothe dance number which was performed by Nikita Dutta, Himanshi Sharma, Shreya Sharma, Ishita Thakur, Shivani Devak, Vaishnavi Kashyap, Priya Sharma, Shipra Pal, Ishita Sharma, Simran Sharma, Anushka Sharma, Anushka Kapoor, Swastika Chauhan and Saumya Chander Rattan.

The band performance by Himanshi Sharma, Napatrsorn, Kannatte, Chaowlee and Riya Nair too won hearts as they gave a brilliant performance. The day ended on a positive note with a message that peace should be given a chance and humans should once again try to live in harmony with each other.
